FOR BIDS
The Gloucester Township Municipal Utilities Authority,
Camden County, New Jersey will receive sealed bids until 2:00 P.M., prevailing
time, on September 8, 2010, for the Hydrogen Sulfide Control Services, at which
time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid opening will be at the Authority’s
offices located on
Work to be
performed consists of: Full turnkey
operation and maintenance services shall include the supply of 50% Hydrogen
Peroxide and/or Bioxide. This service
also includes all necessary chemical storage equipment, chemical feed
equipment, chemical inventory management, analytical tools, delivery service,
manpower, program monitoring/management and reporting, and all incidentals at any
combination of the following pumping stations maintained and operated by the
Gloucester Township MUA:

Lincoln Avenue
·
Lakeside Business Park
·
Orr Road, and
·
Central Avenue
Copies of Bid and
Contract Documents, including information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Contract
Drawings and Specifications, may be examined or obtained at the Authority
offices, Lower Landing Road, Chews Landing, New Jersey. Copies may be obtained at the Authority
office for a fee of $40.00, paid by check only.
Contract documents will not be
mailed.
A Proposal
guarantee (certified check, cashiers check, or surety bid bond) in the amount
of $10,000 submitted with each Bid.
Proposal guarantees shall be returned to all except the three (3) lowest
Bidders within ten (10) days (excepting Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays)
following the opening of the bids. Upon
the successful execution of a Contract with the accepted Bidder or upon
rejection of all bids, the remaining Proposal guarantees shall be returned
within ten (10) days (excepting Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays). In no case shall Proposal guarantees of the
three (3) lowest bidders be withheld for a period in excess of sixty (60) days
following the opening of bids.
Proposals may be
withdrawn up to the opening of bids. The
Proposals of the three (3) lowest bidders shall not be withdrawn for a period
of sixty (60) days following the opening of bids.
Successful bidders
on this work will be required to comply with the New Jersey Public Law 1975,
Chapter 127, which concerns non-discrimination in employment, and State of
The Gloucester
Township Municipal Utilities Authority reserves the right to waive any
informality in any bid and to reject any or all bids.
